Characteristics of laser metal cutting works capabilities

Copper laser cutting work: We can cut upto 2 mm copper sheet. Maximum sheet size supported is 1500 x 2500 mm. Copper laser cutting is done using high pressure dry Air. The cutting capacity is lower in copper because it is highly reflective metal.

Brass Laser cutting work: Brass behaves just like copper under laser cutting machines. Max cutting thickness is 2 mm or less. Like copper brass is also cut using high pressure air (or optionally Nitrogen)

MS laser cutting work: We can cut mild steel upto 12 mm. upto 2 mm MS is cut using High pressure dry air. 3 mm can be cut using both Air and oxygen. 4 mm to 12 mm is cut using low pressure oxygen.

Stainless steel laser cutting work: Stainless steel is cut using compressed dry Air. Optionally it can also be cut using Nitrogen. However cutting with nitrogen would increase cost of cutting. We can cut up-to 6 mm Stainless Steel.

The high-precision laser metal cutting accuracy is up to 0.01. Here is the cutting accuracy and material thickness level, which you can expect from a laser cutting machine.

FAQ’S?

Laser marking can mark a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, polymers, and rubber.

In simplest terms, laser marking is a permanent process that uses a beam of concentrated light to create a lasting mark on a surface. Typically performed with a fiber, pulsed, continuous wave, green, or UV laser machine, laser marking encompasses a wide variety of applications.

The laser cutting costs are based on the time your file takes to cut in the laser.

When it comes to deep engraving, the depth can easily reach a few millimeters into metals.

Laser marking machines have always been considered very fast devices at various marking speeds, but they also have limitations. The theoretical speed of the manufacturer is 9000mm/s, and some marking opportunities are lower than this speed, about 7000mm/s.

Soft metals such as copper, brass and aluminium are more prone to engraving fading than harder metals such as stainless steel and other materials. For glass engraving, the quality of the glass will affect longevity.
